Port Angeles Sea Kayak Symposium

Tim Niemier and Rob Casey attended the Sea Kayak Symposium 2 weeks ago. I would have had this up sooner but my camera was missing and I was sure I lost it. When I went to get my life jacket to go to the Paddling expo in Bellingham there it was in my lifejacket. I just down loaded it.

There were two Sailing Ships in port there and there was Mt Baker in the back round. You can see Mt Baker in the picture. There were a lot of Sea Kayaks there and two Paddleboard companies, Us and Naish from Hawaii. Everyone worked together to make it a success. Naish and Rob gave lessons that were pretty full so we each helped each other. When the paddleboards weren't busy then the kayaks were all busy and we helped out with them.

There are a number of great surf breaks nearby from swells coming down the Staights of Juan De Fuca. There was also a brew pub that had Wanda Fuca IPA that wasn't bad.

Port Angeles is a great little town where they make Lib Tech Snowboards and a number of the people from there stopped by.
